Get a straighter and more even smile
Teeth can sometimes be misaligned or crooked. We can help give you a straighter, healthier, and more even smile with orthodontic and Invisalign® treatments to correct and realign your teeth.
As your adult teeth grow in, they can become crooked or misaligned, or you could suffer from bite malocclusion (over or underbite). This can lead to complications such as jaw pain and damage to your teeth, and it can leave you with an uneven smile. Orthodontic treatment gradually realigns and repositions your teeth into the correct positions so they are straight and even. Treatments include metal braces and aligners such as Invisalign®.
Book NowMetal Braces
Braces reposition your teeth until they are in the correct positions and alignment. Treatment with braces usually takes around two years and you’ll need to come into the office periodically to have your braces adjusted.
Invisalign® Clear Aligners
Invisalign® works in the same way as braces. The aligners are virtually invisible when worn, and you can remove them to eat or brush your teeth. Invisalign® treatment takes around the same time as treatment with braces.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I need to wear a retainer?
At the end of your treatment, you may need to wear a retainer for a few months to hold your teeth in position while they settle into their new alignment.
Can I change the colour of my elastic bands?
Yes! You can choose any colour elastic you want, and you can change it whenever you go in to get your braces adjusted.
Do braces hurt?
Your mouth might be sore when the braces are first put on or when you go to get them adjusted. Over the counter pain medication can provide relief from the discomfort.
What if I break a bracket, or a wire or elastic comes off?
Call your dentist right away to let them know. If a wire has come loose, you can cover the end with orthodontic wax to protect your mouth.
